Preamble
Agriculture is Tanzanias main economic activity that employs about 77% of the total population. With the unequivocal changing of the climatic system, the rising concern is on how best natural resources can be utilized to sustain and increase productivity of crops and livestock. The sustainable agriculture through application of ecological organic agriculture technologies is the best solution to sustain lives of both animals and plants in the planet. Majority of small scale farmers are using poor agro ecological practices which degrade the Environment. These are: - cultivating small size of farm land, cutting all trees, poor applied simple tools in preparing land, practicing mono cropping and poor farming practices within the hills, overgrazing and bush-fires. Apart from that they are intensively applying synthetic chemicals, fertilizers and pesticides which have revealed to have health complications in both plants and animals. They have inadequate knowledge of ecological organic farming techniques, market skills of organic products, and sustainable livelihoods. It is through this knowledge gap especially to small holder farmers and marginalized which trigger the formation of this organization.

To engage and involve all stakeholders in organic agriculture, facilitate exchange of scientific knowledge of organic food and farming systems, and help practitioners disseminate, apply, and implement innovation and scientific knowledge consistent with the principles of organic agriculture.
Objectives
- Empower the community on ecological organic agriculture systems.
- Promote community on maximization of production, supply and exportation of safe and high-quality value organic crops produces to consumers.
- Advocate for good policies and regulations which support the development of sustainable organic farming systems.
- Raise awareness and strengthen strategic partnerships with like minded organizations.
- Promote organic farming science, knowledge and technology innovation for sustainable agriculture.
